The meeting point is at Terry and Donna’s home, 2523 Gough St, between Green and Vallejo, in San Francisco on August 2nd, SATURDAY anytime after 10am for juice, coffee and homemade breads. The ride begins at 11:45 sharp. We will ride to the Nike Missile Site in the Marin Headlands for a 45 minute view of our defense of San Francisco in the Fifties with nuclear tipped missiles to eliminate Soviet bombers. We have a reservation with the Park Ranger to begin the tour at 12:30pm prompt. There appears to be time to drive on to Tony’s Oyster Bar up the coast in Marshall for lunch, which will fall within our 60 mile ride range. Since the vote at the June 12th meeting was split on whether to shorten the ride we’ve decided to take the longer ride to Marshall. After lunch everyone is on there own but Donna and I will return on the coast which will be cooler than 101 on a hot August day. Our phone is 415 771 6166.
